JustHost's RBC announcement introduced a new VPS site in Vienna, adding an Austrian option to the European network.
It gives services focused on Central Europe another location to consider when designing infrastructure around their audience.
Central Europe in the deployment plan
Vienna gives teams serving Central European users another destination. A new city in the network provides more flexibility when choosing a primary site or planning a regional application component.
Start by listing the networks and services your application uses every day, then compare configurations and routes. This separates the practical value of a new location from the assumption that a closer server will automatically make every part of a product faster.
- Review where your users connect from.
- Compare routes to APIs, storage and the database.
- Check the application on the selected configuration.
