JustHost announced new VPS locations in Singapore, Tokyo and Madrid, adding points of presence in Asia and Southern Europe.
International projects gain more placement options: teams can spread resources across regions and choose infrastructure around where their users are.
Three cities, different audiences
Singapore and Tokyo add choices for projects serving users in Asia, while Madrid expands the options in Southern Europe. A team can match its deployment geography to the places where customers and partners work, rather than treating one location as a universal answer.
Being nearby on a map is a useful starting point, but the final choice deserves a real connection test. Latency depends on more than distance: the network route, the user's provider and the application's architecture all matter. The new locations make it possible to compare alternatives around the needs of the same product.
- Check connectivity from networks used by your main audience.
- Consider where databases and related services are located.
- Plan data migration separately from choosing a city.
